10/14/04 Yearly road maintenance began this week with the
milling of South Seminary Street. The milling of this street was required to
regain the curb lines and improve the drainage in the South Seminary Street
area. Over the years Seminary Street has been paved many times since it was
first constructed and due to the paving some side streets in the area could not
drain properly. Weather permitting work on South Seminary Street should be
completed by Wednesday 10/20/04.
Widening The Intersection
Also in the road works plans this year is widening of the First
and Mulberry Street intersection. This will help the traffic flow safely
to and from Hansen's mfg. Weather permitting work should be completed in
about two weeks.
Only a few streets will be paved this year do to the overall
good condition of our road system.
