TRANSPORTATION:

* Doctor Appointments -
Transportation is provided to any resident of the county 60 years of age or older, or Medicaid recipient.

* Personal Appointments -
Transportation is available to take seniors to the beauty shop, barber, grocery store, drug store, post office, etc.

* Out of County -
Trips are made on Monday to doctor appointments in Evansville, and Tuesday to Vincennes, a nominal fee being requested. Transportation is available on other days of the week as a private pay rider.

* Shopping Trips -
Scheduled trips are made to area merchants and malls throughout the year.

 

Services are offered on a donation basis with exception to charges for out-of-county transportation. For service
to be, provided, please call 24 hours in advance. If you would like additional information, please contact Jane Ritchie in our transportation department at 385-8818. All GCCOA services are provided without regard to race, religion, sex. disability. national origin or ancestry. All services are made available to any person age 60 or over, or disabled.
